Angelic Pretty and Shirring

I finally was able to try on my newest purchases from Angelic Pretty~!
One key thing to remember when buying brand is to understand
the sizing~!
(this is just my personal take from trying to fit into dresses, and does not apply to everyone,
many people have no problem with sizing/fitting regardless of measurements, and they
rock it too~!)
Sizes:
Half shirring, full shirring, no shirring
No shirring means if you want to be able to breathe you should be
below the measurements.
I absolutely cannot fit into non shirred items because of
my bust size (sadly not due to large boobies, but just really
odd fat placement >.<)

Half-shirring means there is some shirring, but not the whole back
of the dress.
I use to never be able to breathe in this type of size,
but I have recently lost some weight and this size is bearable.
A good thing to remember is if you want your dress to still
have some structure (tight like non-shirring) but with some breathing room
go for this option.
Finally full shirring (in particular only on the back)
This kind is perfect if you cannot fit into non-shirred and
would like to breathe/eat/etc. while in lolita fashion.
This is the most comfortable for me and gives my bust the much needed room.

One thing to remember is that the elastic can be very tight~!
It may take some time to break it in/might not be as comfy as
you want. (I personally do not like my clothes to feel very constricting)
I hope my ramblings have been helpful for your future shopping endeavors~!

(p.s. many people wear whatever style of sizing they want, regardless of size/measurements, and
they feel very comfortable, just for me I like my breathing room without being squished~! )

Skirts also have some shirring, and I can finally fit them and be able to breathe, YAY, but
just keep in mind how comfy you need to be.

Thanks for reading :)

Fashion Photoshoot~!

A couple weeks ago I had a quick Japanese fashion influenced
photoshoot~!
Here are a couple photos from it~!
I hope you enjoy :)

Hair accessories in Lolita

What are some of your favorite hair accessories for
when you dress up in lolita?
A cute straw hat? A headbow? A bonnet?
My personal favorite is a really
awesome vintage hat (and having to search for the perfect one for
and outfit~!)
Is there anything you would love to see, have seen
that you just love to pair with your outfits?
Let me know~!
